Additional Information:

Children's Magazine Guide uses two types of cross-references: see and see also. This makes it easier to quickly find what you are looking for.

See references readers from subjects that are not used in CMG to those that are used. For example:
ANDROIDS: see Robots
FARMING: see Agriculture
GERMS: see Bacteria
MEMOIRS: see Autobiography
SPEED OF SOUND: see Sound - Speed

See also occasionally points readers to related subject headings where additional information may be found, or provides more specific terms for a general subject area. For example:
ANIMALS: see also types of animals, as Elephants
ARCHEOLOGY: see also Mummies
AUTHORS: see also names of Authors, as Bridges, Shirin Yim

Sometimes, see also points to a term that is not included in that specific issue of Children's Magazine Guide. This is done to alert readers that the term may have been used in other issues of CMG.
